I have a concrete shell pool with mosaic tile waterline and brick coping circa 1990. The skimmer required replacement and there was a pipe leak. I got a few quotes of similar price and selected Malastone for the skimmer job. They replaced the skimmer and visually you would not know it was done. The work was so neat. After getting false advice from other Leak companies I asked Malastone to find and repair my leak. They methodically checked my system, found and repaired the leak. Josh and Peter are diligent, prompt and perfectionists in their work. Get these guys to do your job. Simply great. 5 stars.

After digging out our 35 year old pool that was filled in with sand 15 years ago we were in need of someone who knew what they were talking about. We had massive reservations about how successful our pool renovation was going to be (and how costly!!) but after talking to Peter he made us confident that it was absolutely do-able, cheaper than a new pool and that is was fine that the pool was located 600 km away!! Peter’s experience and understanding of the industry was obvious and he went about the renovation with calm efficiency that only comes when people really know what they are doing. Being remote meant there was problem solving that needed to be done along the way but no challenge was too large. The boys were polite and professional and we highly recommend to anyone who is regional or remote to use these blokes. Their after sales service was fabulous too. A pleasure to have them fix up our pool.

Peter and Josh are the best of the best. We had a very old pool which basically needed to be brought back to the shell and build back up. Unfortunately a lot of unexpected setbacks came up (asbestos in pool, leaking pipe etc). It has really been a very tough job for Josh and Peter, but they have always been giving their all. We really appreciate their honest and professional approach, eye for detail and they just don't mess around. And besides that, they are just very nice and friendly too. Which definitely is a plus when you have people working around your place every day for a longer period of time!

Extremely happy with the end result. Thanks Peter & Josh. Our pool is an old pre-fab pool which we lined with a Fibreglass liner about 5 years ago. However, the coping of the pool was in desperate need of repair and we had difficulty finding someone to do this work. If your pool is an older style pool that needs repair, then Peter and Josh are the only choice. They have the experience with these pools that enables them to provide solutions that are tailored to your particular circumstances. For example, Peter was able to develop a method of attaching the new coping form-work that didn’t require drilling into our existing fibreglass lining. It worked a treat. We were able to add a remote-controlled pool light and Peter was even able to source a new robotic pool cleaner for us. The pool now looks amazing and will provide enjoyment for our family for many years to come.

Our 20 year old fibre and concrete pool needed an overhaul - including a new liner and design + installation of lighting. MPR we're quick to respond to our initial enquiry and easy to work with from quote to completion. MPR walked through all options with us and set a great delivery timeline for the project.

Everything worked as it should, no hassle, prompt turnaround, after install check in and as a bonus great people to work with.

Our 40+ year old Pool Fab S1000 was in serious need of some TLC. The steel cables in the prefab coping had rusted through causing a slight "bowing" in the coping. Sections of the coping had also broken off. Peter provided a very detailed quote outlining what was to be done. Peter, Josh and Jason removed the old coping and boxed and cantilevered a new coping bond beam. This was then paved with granite coping pavers and blue mosaic tiles put on the front of the coping. The paving and tiling was meticulous & a new liner was installed. The end result is absolutely brilliant with the pool now looking like a brand new pool. We would highly recommend Malastone Pools for any pool renovations you need done.

After years of other companies unsuccessfully trying to find the problem, these guys established very quickly that the skimmer box had cracked and needed replacing. Am very pleased to say a prompt return of a phone call and subsequent quote put our mind at ease. After a less than successful dabble with a contractor repainting our tired concrete pool, we engaged Malastone Pools who recommended that we resurface with pebblecrete. We accepted their reasonable quote and after a short delay due to inclement weather, the work was completed very expediently by Peter and Josh and their support team. We are extremely happy with the end result and the professional and friendly manner in the way they went about their work. It was apparent that you are the EXPERTS in this field, based on your arrival at our house at the time; being conscious of the need to keep our neighbours in mind re: noise and traffic issues, the occasional chat to answer our questions re: the 'what, why, how' issues and so on.
